Barcelona, a los pies de Dua Lipa en el videoclip de 'Illusion'

Suena a pista de baile. Pero también suena a festival, a remezcla, a temazo en el hilo musical de cualquier terraza con ambientazo de verano. Es Illusion, la nueva canción y el nuevo videoclip con los que Dua Lipa presenta los cimientos y a la vez la piedra angular de su nuevo proyecto discográfico.

Un tema con el que la artista londinense pone a sus pies la Ciudad Condal y al mismo tiempo presenta su candidatura oficial, con todas sus letras, al trono estival de la Canción del Verano. Nada extraño si tenemos en cuenta que en los últimos años ha dominado la escena mundial con canciones como Don't Start now (2019), Physical (2020), Levitating (2021) o Dance the night (2023).

Con Illusion repite esa fórmula de los toques psicodélicos que tan bien le funcionó con Houdini. Su videoclip está cargado de simbolismo: el contraste del blanco y el negro, su redención final en rojo, su ascensión a los cielos de blanco impoluto bajo la Sagrada Familia. Una evolución en el paso a la madurez sentimental tras una relación que no funcionó y en el que las banderas rojas y la toxicidad quedan atrás por fin.

Dua Lipa se desenvuelve como pez en el agua en las instalaciones de la piscina Picornell ubicada en Montjuic y que fue referencia durante los JJ OO Barcelona 92 y en los Mundiales de Natación posteriores. Una auténtica joya ubicada en un emplazamiento privilegiado que permite disfrutar del skyline de la capital catalana incluyendo La Sagrada Familia.

Las instalaciones del centro acuático dan una estética visual moderna y casi futurista donde el baile, la música, la natación, los saltos y acrobacias y las coreografías se combinan con la belleza de un paisaje único como Barcelona.
