Lil Nas X juega con el doble sentido en ‘Swish’ para orgullo de Barbie

Después de varios años sabemos ya cómo se las gasta Lil Nas X y estaba claro que su nueva canción no iba a ser algo aislado. De hecho, el artista estadounidense ha sabido jugar a la perfección con el doble sentido en su canción Swish para orgullo de Barbie.

Porque en una primera lectura parece claro que es un tema en el que el artista, utilizando metáforas deportivas del baloncesto, quiere mostrar cómo su determinación le ha llevado al éxito, a lograr casi la perfección como en ese sonido del que hablamos (cuando la pelota entra en la canasta sin tocar el aro).

No hay ningún lugar a la duda de que su evolución personal y profesional ha sido espectacular y cómo por ese camino ha conseguido sentirse más seguro, confiado y decidido en su propuesta musical. Sin embargo, no podemos dejar de pensar que Swish es una canción de Lil Nas X y que hay una segunda interpretación.

Y para quien escribe este artículo queda claro que el intérprete vuelve a jugar con las connotaciones sexuales que salpican sus anteriores hits. No es este una excepción. Y aunque el videoclip ofrezca una visión rosa y edulcorada de lo deportivo, Barbie jugadora de basket estaría encantada, solo hay que leer la letra con 'otros ojos' para darse cuenta de lo que está cantando.
