Bruce Springsteen homenajea a las "soldaderas mexicanas" en 'Adelita', canción inédita de los 90

Bruce Springsteen ha estrenado Adelita, una canción inédita procedente del álbum INYO, proyecto ambientado en los estados fronterizos de California y Texas y que verá la luz al completo como parte de la colección Tracks II: The Lost Albums, que verá la luz el próximo 27 de junio.

Tal y como ha explicado el Boss, "es una oda a las ‘soldaderas’ mexicanas, heroicas mujeres que desempeñaron un papel fundamental en la lucha por la independencia del país. Inspirado para explorar temas de esta naturaleza en la década de 1990 durante varios viajes en moto por el suroeste de EEUU, los años que Springsteen pasó en California le vieron sumergirse en la historia de la región".

"INYO es un disco que escribí en California durante largas rutas junto al acueducto de California hasta Inyo County de camino a Yosemite o Death Valley. Es una de mis favoritas", ha añadido en redes sociales.

Como ya hemos mencionado, INYO es uno de los siete discos "perdidos" de Springsteen. Esta colección inédita sirve para completar episodios de la dilatada carrera de Springsteen, entre los años 1983-2018.

Hasta ahora, el BOSS tan solo había publicado cuatro temas de un total de 83: Rain in the River, del álbum Perfect World; Blind Spot, de Streets of Philadelphia Sessions; Faithless, del disco homónimo; Repo Man, de Somewhere North of Nashville.
