Ed Sheeran publica 'Skeletons', un conflicto sin resolver en 'Play (Super Deluxe Edition)'

Parece que iluminar con su música la gala de LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2025 no fue suficiente para él; hablamos, por supuesto, de Ed Sheeran. Y es que el artista ha estado el último año en boca de todos, bien con el lanzamiento de su álbum PLAY, su colaboración con Shakira y Beéle para celebrar los aniversarios de Pies descalzos y Oral Fixation o con su actuación en el Roig Arena con Azizam y Shapphire, que parecía un broche ideal para cerrar el año. Nada más lejos de la realidad.

Ahora, el de Halifax ha decidido despedir el 2025 con la publicación de Play (Super Deluxe Edition), una versión de su último álbum de estudio. Entre todos los temas nuevos, uno encabeza la lista: Skeletons. Pero ¿A qué suena esta edición especial de Ed Sheeran?

Ed Sheeran ha añadido 14 temas extra y cinco canciones nuevas a Play, su último proyecto de estudio hasta la fecha; Skeletons es una de esas canciones. Para esta edición deluxe el artista ha vuelto ha asumir los mandos de la producción — junto a Blake Slatkin y P2J — en una canción rítmica que casa a la perfección con lo anteriormente publicado.

El tema está escrito en medio de un conflicto sin resolver, conflicto que Sheeran verbaliza entre gasolina, chupitos y un vuelo de vuelta. así, Skeletons profundiza en el peso de los ecos emocionales que, poco a poco, empiezan a desenterrarse. Technicolour, Satellite, Lights Out o Fade Out son otros de los temas que acompaña esta última edición.
