Carly Rae Jepsen lanza 'Motivation' y nos enseña a salir a la pista de baile junto a su sobrina Ivy

Cada vez queda menos para que escuchemos en plataformas digitales lo que Carly Rae Jepsen nos lleva ya un tiempo preparando. Esta artista, que este año ha sido madre por primera vez de una preciosa niña, lleva sin lanzar un nuevo LP desde el pasado 2023. Y este 2026, como compensación, no llega con uno normal... Si no con un disco doble -Day and Night- que nos traerá hasta 24 canciones nuevas de la canadiense.

Así, a lo largo de estos últimos meses, Carly nos ha ido regalando pequeñas píldoras de este esperado lanzamiento musical -que aterrizará en nuestros oídos el próximo 18 de septiembre-. Y este viernes, para culminar la penúltima semana de este caluroso mes de agosto, ha querido 'motivarnos' a salir a la pista de baile a través de la publicación de una de las canciones que componen el disco 2 de Day and Night.

Motivation ha aterrizado en las plataformas digitales este viernes 21 de agosto como el empujón necesario para afrontar este fin de semana de verano por todo lo alto. Y con un ritmo muy electrónico, una mención honorífica a su familia y un videoclip que emana unas buenas vibras innegables, este tema se posiciona como uno de los más 'disco' de Rae Jepsen.

'Motivation', una motivación a la pista de baile

Carly Rae Jepsen ha transicionado el que se conocía como su género musical por excelencia. Sigue inmersa en su eterno pop, que ya en la década del 2010 le dio tantos éxitos; pero al igual que muchos de sus compañeros de industria, ha querido darle una vuelta y probar con sonidos de pop más electrónicos, dance y synth.

Así, después del lanzamiento de los tres primeros adelantos de Day and Night -su próximo LP doble que sale el 18 de septiembre-, Carly nos ha querido regalar la mejor de las motivaciones para lanzarnos a la pista de baile siempre que podamos. Motivation llega como el sucesor de On Wires y After All -canciones que forman parte del disco 1-, y de Don't Leave Me On The Dance Floor -su compañero en el disco 2-. Y viene de la mano de un videoclip grabado en París que solo invita a unirse a sus protagonistas, motivarse para enfrentar el día, y bailar, bailar y no parar de bailar.
