J. Rey Soul vuelve a darle el toque femenino a Black Eyed Peas en 'Guarantee'

Cuando Black Eyed Peas está cerca de celebrar sus 30 años de formación, el ahora trío sigue sorprendiéndonos con sus propuestas musicales. Entre ellas una que siempre nos ha llamado poderosamente la atención: que la combinación de las voces de Will.I.Am, Taboo y Apl.de.ap siempre funcionan a las mil maravillas con una voz femenina.

Les funcionó durante años con Fergie hasta que la vocalista decidió probar suerte en solitario, les ha funcionado siempre en colaboraciones que han realizado junto a solistas como Shakira (Don't you worry y Girl like me) o cuando han contado con su nueva cantante femenina con la que colaboran esporádicamente: J Rey Soul.

La cantante colaboró con Black Eyed Peas por primera vez en 2018 para el álbum Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 y ahora colabora con ellos de forma oficial aunque de manera intermitente. Una de las últimas oportunidades en las que hemos podido disfrutar del resultado de la unión de sus voces fue en Mamacita (2020) junto a Ozuna.

Nos ha tocado esperar pero J Rey Soul y el grupo vuelve a la carga con una de esas propuestas musicales y audiovisuales que llaman poderosamente la atención. Porque BEP parece que siempre va un pasito adelante y ha presentado Guarantee para convertirse en una de las grandes sorpresas del final de año.
